Topic: food chains

Did you know that all animals are solar powered? Plants trap energy from the sun and use it to make food. Animals cannot do this, so they depend on plants for their food. Some animals eat plants, and some animals eat other animals. Either way, all the energy comes from the sun. The chain shown by the arrows on the board is called a food chain.
