We talked about different ways of finding the area of complex shapes like the one on the board above. Raghad, Fahad and Saba all found different ways which were equally good. I have shown one way on the board above. I cut the shape into three parts, found the area of each part, and added the answers together.
At home please do page 100 questions 1 and 2 only. We talked about the page in class. Remember: two half squares make a whole square. Enjoy doing your homework.
