Literacy: using subheadings

Today we used the Literacy World interactive software to look at the contents page of a book about Roman soldiers. We thought of some questions that we could ask about the contents page. Our questions are shown on the right side of the board above.

After that we looked at subtitles and subheadings. We collected some subtitles from the Literacy World book, about Roman soldiers. We found some information to put under our subtitles. At home please finish your classwork, making sure that you add one more subtitle and information to what is on the board above. That means you should have three subtitles altogether. Make your homework neat so that you can be really proud of it.
