We looked at a picture of a mythical creature, the cyclops. We know the cyclops is not real so we will not have nightmares. We noticed lots of features of the cyclops. We made those features into similes and metaphors. Here are some examples.- His hair is as red as flames (simile).
- His teeth are deadly daggers (metaphor).
Tomorrow we will read our similes and metaphors aloud to the class, if we had not been chosen to read them today when we ran out of time.
