We began by looking again at the story Journey to Jo'burg, which contained other words for said. After that we thought of lots of our own words. You can see them on the board above.
We wrote some example sentences using other words for said. At home please finish your own three sentences, using good words instead of said. Make sure you follow the rules of punctuation carefully. Enjoy doing your homework.
